Teit E. Johansen, PhD, President & CEO and founder of NsGene A/S. Dr. Johansen has extensive research experience from Rigshospitalet and Johns Hopkins University as well as corporate experience from NeuroSearch A/S before starting up NsGene A/S. Teit E. Johansen was employed as Head of Molecular Pharmacology at NeuroSearch from 1994 to 1999. At NeuroSearch Teit E. Johansen established and managed the CNS Gene therapy program, which in 1999 became the corporate basis for NsGene.
Lars. U. Wahlberg, MD, PhD, Exec. Vice President and COO
and founder of NsGene A/S. Dr. Wahlberg is a certified neurosurgeon and researcher trained at Brown University and the Karolinska Institute and with corporate experience from Cytotherapeutics Inc. Before co-founding NsGene, Lars U. Wahlberg was employed as Director of Core Technology at Cytotherapeutics, Inc. with responsibilities for the R&D and clinical testing of encapsulated cells and human stem cell lines for the treatment of neurological disorders.
