NsGene has generated a strong patent position based on its own research efforts and through several strategic licensing deals. Altogether more than 50 patent families protect NsGene's business. 35 patents families widely protect the EC BiodeliveryTM program. The remaining patent families are related to NsGene's factor program and to neural stem cells.

EC BiodeliveryTM technology IPR
Through patents to the EC BiodeliveryTM system, NsGene has secured exclusive worldwide rights to encapsulated cell biodelivery of therapeutics to the nervous system. Read more about EC BiodeliveryTM .
Factors IPR
NsGene has patents that protect Neublastin (also known as artemin and enovin), Nucleic acids encoding Neublastin, and cells capable of expressing Neublastin as well as methods of making and methods of using the same, primarily medical use.
